A Trade Union Take on the SDGs - Edition 2024

This report provides an independent workers’ perspective on governments’ progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their performance in facilitating trade unions’ meaningful involvement in national development processes.

With the support of the ITUC, trade unions in 13 countries have analysed the state of SDG progress in their country and the level of transparency, consultation, and social dialogue that their government apply when designing, implementing and monitoring national development policies.

The 2024 edition of this report is based on the results of national trade union reports from 13 countries: Brazil, Chad, Costa Rica, Kenya, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
