Trade union take on SDG implementation - Australia

Scoring under par on all parameter, trade union analysis of the Australian government’s implementation of the SDGs reveals a lack of commitment to stakeholder engagement. Progress towards achieving the SDGs is also stunted, notably by the fact that low-paid, insecure or part-time work are all on the rise, welfare suffers from under-funding and that labour market gaps are disproportionally affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women.
