This act of terrorism, which involved gunmen and an incendiary attack, caused horror and tragedy and affected hundreds of innocent civilians, including working people and families gathered for an evening of music.
“More than a hundred lives were destroyed in this appalling act and many more have been affected. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of those killed and to all those who were injured. We denounce it in the strongest terms and urge that those behind this atrocity be apprehended and held accountable,” said ITUC General Secretary Luc Triangle.
The ITUC stands in solidarity with its affiliate in Russia, the Confederation of Labour of Russia (KTR), and its members during this difficult time.
