A priority: tackling
the financial and
economic crisis
It is critical that APEC take action to tackle the world
economic crisis and to prevent global recession. APEC
Leaders must rise to the challenge and work on
additional and coordinated counter-cyclical measures in
line with the ILO Global Jobs Pact to address the risks
of the job crisis and get back on the track with the
creation of decent work and a high growth, sustainable
development path.
