Trade unions are key actors to ensure the protection and fulfilment of migrant workers’ labour rights. In both origin and destination countries, trade unions engage in social dialogue with governments and employers to devise rights-based governance frameworks and organise migrant workers to improve their working conditions through collective bargaining.
