“The Global Crisis and Aid Effectiveness: New Paths for Development” is the
focus of the ITUC conference in Madrid on 16 and 17 of March 2010. The
Spanish presidency of the EU and the Spanish trade unions will be hosting
the meeting that will have a high level participation from international
European and Spanish decision makers. Professor José Antonio Ocampo,
former UN undersecretary, will be the keynote speaker. He has widely
recognised experience on the crisis and development challenges.
