The Structured Dialogue on the involvement of Civil society and Local authorities (CSOs & LA) in EC development cooperation has been launched by Commissioner for Development Piebalgs on the 23rd of March 2010 in Brussels. In line with the global Aid effectiveness Agenda, it is an inclusive process, which seeks to bring on board all relevant stakeholders involved in EC development cooperation (EC, EU delegations, European Parliament, Member States, Civil society and Local and Regional Authorities from Europe and partner countries).
