TUDCN members discuss improving knowledge-sharing of good practices in union-led development cooperation

The members of the Trade Union Development Cooperation Network (TUDCN) are engaged in many successful development cooperation projects around the world. These activities are real life improvers for millions of workers and their families.

Over 50 members of the TUDCN from over 20 countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean gathered to discuss good practices in union-led development cooperation.

The webinar took place on 16 November and was organised by the TUDCN and the three Belgian trade unions: CSC, CGSLB, FGTB.

Members shared some good practices of union-led development cooperation initiatives and discussed ways of making the most of these good practices beyond the current online database into which the TUDCN gathers all the projects: the Trade Union Development Projects Directory.

During the webinar, 14 organisations shared their good practices on themes such as living wages, child labour, gender equality, just transition, informal economy, youth, social protection, migrant workers, social dialogue and the Sustainable Development Goals.
