Far-right and fascist parties have established themselves around the globe, threatening labour and human rights as well as action against climate change. The Just Transition Centre and DGB invite you to explore the role of labour unions in organizing for this struggle and exploring how the process and practice of Just Transition can support democracy and racial justice, protect rights, and fight climate change.
Featuring the Just Transition Centre’s director Samantha Smith as moderator, movement leaders from Brazil, Philippines, Germany and South Africa, and guest speaker Asad Rehman from War on Want, the event offers you the opportunity to hear directly from labour leaders in frontline countries around the globe.
