Trade Union Priorities for the OECD DAC SLM 2019

The Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC) and the International Trade Union Confederation Trade Union Development Cooperation Network (ITUC-TUDCN) presented trade unions’ priorities for the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) during the Senior Level Meeting (SLM) of the OECD DAC, which took place on the 22nd of February 2019 in Paris.

The document is divided in three pillars:

  • 1. DAC fit for the future;
  • 2. DAC key engagement areas; and
  • 3. Innovative finance.

It also comprises 10 priorities for the OECD DAC. The latter range from asking the DAC to increase its coordination and cooperation with other departments of the OECD to calling on DAC members to endorse criteria to grant alignment of private sector investments to the SDGs.
