The regional meeting of the Asia-Pacific Trade Union Development Cooperation Network (AP TUDCN) took place in Bangkok on 25-26 January 2018. A major focus was placed on the work of trade unions around the Sustainable Development Goals and also featured a discussion on the TUDCN work on the private sector in development. The meeting was overseen by Shoya Yoshida, General Secretary of ITUC-AP, with the support of the regional (ITUC-AP) and global (ITUC) secretariats of the TUDCN.
