Ms. Abiodun-Badru’s intervention begins at 2:50:30

The emigration of healthcare professionals has resulted in a shortage of healthcare workers in Nigeria. In light of this, Ms. Abiodun-Badru made the following intervention:

Thank you very much Mr. President.

My name is Moradeke Abiodun-Badru. I represent Workers and Trade Unions.

I have a question for the Nigerian representative on the issue of health related SDGs. What are the strategic frameworks in place to ensure recruitment, retention of the right human resources for health in the country’s public service health system?

Thank you.
