The ITUC Global Organising Academy develops leadership skills for organisers and supports affiliates’ organising work through extensive training and mentoring of organisers. It trains Leads and Organisers through their participation in the ‘Lead Organisers’ and ‘A Taste of Organising’ courses. It supports the realisation of organising targets in each of the ITUC Frontline campaigns and also provides support training for young union activists and affiliate representatives engaged in ITUC priority programmes, including specific target groups of workers and workers in ‘Countries at Risk’. Participants in the Academy programme are drawn from national trade union centres and from Global Union Federations.
