Cooperation Policy Meeting of the TUCA

The Cooperation Policy Meeting of the TUCA was held in Paris on Tuesday 28 October. The meeting, convened by the TUCA Secretariat, was attended by many of the solidarity support organisations working with the TUCA.

The Cooperation Policy Meeting of the TUCA was held in Paris on Tuesday 28 October. The meeting, convened by the TUCA Secretariat, was attended by many of the solidarity support organisations working with the TUCA: CUT Brazil; FES Germany; ISCOD-UGT, Paz y Solidaridad-CC.OO. and Sotermun-USO Spain; FGTB, FOS, CSC and WSM Belgium; CGT and CFDT France; ISCOS-CISL and CGIL Italy; LO FTF Denmark; LO, TCO and OPC Sweden; FNV Mondiaal Netherlands.

A review of the results, priorities and challenges of the TUCA was presented at the meeting. Particular emphasis was placed on the strategy for implementing the PLADA and the establishment of a follow-up mechanism to promote greater coordination of the cooperation efforts in the Americas supported by the participating organisations and the TUCA, to increase their impact and coherence within the framework of implementing the PLADA.
