Raising the Floor for Supply Chain Workers: Perspective from U.S. Seafood Supply Chains

This report documents violations of rights at work faced by contingent workers in the U.S. Seafood industry, including wage related rights abuses and forced labor. The experiences of seafood workers in the US who have organized reveal significant gaps in protection of their fundamental right to freedom of association. The ILO—the only global tripartite institution—has a unique role to play in setting standards for all of the actors that impact fundamental principles and rights at work.
