To this end, the ITUC supports this year’s End Child Slavery Week, joining other unions and civil society organisations in their call for increased efforts to end child slavery. The alliance includes the Global March against Child Labour led by Kailash Satyarthi, a long term partner of the ITUC in the fight against all forms of child labour. Kailash shares the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize with Malala Yousafzai “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right to all children to education”.
