As decided by our ITUC-General Council as a Global Day of Action in defence of the "Right to Strike" on 18th February for the under attack by the Employers Group at the ILO,Brother Dr G.Sanjeeva Reddy President ITUC-AP & INTUC has lead a procession of huge number of workers in protest against the Employers Group for their Attack on the "Right to Strike" & at the end of the rally he addresed the workers & critisised the present Rightist Governmeny of India for taking various steps & Reforms in Industrial Dispute Acts & Factories Acts to help Employers to run the Industry on their own choices by removing the the vast number of workers from the persue of the protection of Labour Laws which will bring down the Living standards & Purchasing power of the working class in this country & which would lead to Inequality by which working class would find it more difficult to meet their minimum needs,Hence forth he warned the Prime Minister of India to step back from these Unfair & Damaging Reforms & He explained that when ever the Working class is Discriminated & Exploited by the Governments & Employers the Fundamental Right of " Right to Strike" has always been an Instrumental & Protected Tool of the Working Class.

As per the call given by Our President Dr G.Snjeeva Reddy INTUC has organised similar type of Protest Rallies across India by All the Affiliates& Industries & Federations & State & District comitees.
