Consultations on CPDE – the new global CSO platform for the post-Busan process launched. What place for the trade unions?

In response to the official process coming out of the Busan High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness and the emerging Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation, CSOs from all regions and sectors are working together to create a new platform to replace BetterAid and Open Forum that represented civil society in the Busan process. Consultations on the final shape of the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) are kicking off in all regions and sectors.

The new platform is meant to ensure an even better representation and coordination of the civil society engaged in the post-Busan process on development effectiveness. Consultations on the shape of the new platform will be carried out on the level of regions and sectors. See the schedule of the consultations.

TUDCN committed to lead consultations among workers and trade unions worldwide. The exact schedule of the consultations by region will be published later this month.
