Domestic Workers’ Rights Network (DWRN) was formed in December 2006 aiming at the protection of domestic workers rights.
32 organisations comprising trade unions, human rights organisations and NGOs are member of the Network. The ministry of labour consulted the network when developing the ’Domestic workers’ Protection and Welfare’ policy. Now the Network organises meetings, workshops, seminars, rallies, human chains, letter campaigns to demand the approval of the policy and ratification of ILO Convention C189.
