Policies Participation of the ITUC to the Bonn Conference "Advancing the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda" The ITUC participated in a conference “Advancing the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda: Reconfirming Rights, Recognising Limits, Redefining Goals” hosted by the Berlin Civil Society Centre in Bonn from 20 to 22 March 2013, with the attendance of some 250 participants from different civil society organisations. Read more >>> “The Times They Are A-Changin”: Views from African consultations on the post-2015 development agenda On the beginning of March, the Pan-African Parliament, in cooperation with UNDP, hosted over several days an African thematic consultation on Governance and the post-2015 Development Agenda in Midrand, South Africa. It was a lively African driven debate, highlighting key African concerns and expectations for a new and more inclusive and sustainable global development framework. Its aim is to promote women as development actors and to equip ourselves with a gender perspective and strategic guidelines for international trade union development projects, based on the extensive experience of women from the CC.OO. Read more >>> AMCP proposals for a common set of principles for the post-2015 discussions L’Action mondiale contre la Pauvreté (AMCP), a French coalition of the international Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP) campaign, brings together approximately 40 civil society actors and representatives from French local authorities and was set up in 2005 to monitor the implementation of commitments made within the framework of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Read more >>> CGTM-Mauritania invests in the training and integration of young women hairdressers Within the framework of the “Support for the sustainable vocational training of young women hairdressers in 4 regions in Mauritania” project developed by the Confédération Générale des Travailleurs de Mauritanie (CGTM) in partnership with the Centrale Générale des Syndicats libéraux de Belgique’s (CGSLB) Mouvement pour la Solidarité Internationale (MSI), three training sessions were organised for young women hairdressers affiliated to the CGTM in the targeted regions.
