Socio-economic development policies and challenges in Asia and the Pacific were discussed, as well as, trade union priorities and strategies. The current TUDCN work was introduced and shared with participants who put forward initiatives to support advocacy and partnerships efforts in the region.
The meeting ended with the elaboration of a preliminary work plan which will consolidate the networking in the Asia Pacific region as a key strength for the achievement of trade union objectives around development policies.
