Oil Union Leader Assassinated in Colombia
Mauricio A. Redondo, a trade union representative with the Colombian trade union centre USO and local community leader in the municipality of Puerto Asís, was killed along with his wife by hit men on 17 January. The ITUC has joined with its Colombian affiliates, the CUT, CGT, CTC and USO, in firmly condemning these two murders.
Mass Dismissals at Municipal Council in Guatemala
