Ending modern slavery is the theme chosen by women domestic workers of UNTA-CS for the ’12 by 12’ campaign in Angola.
In all regions of the country, actions are taken to achieve decent work for domestic workers including a draft regulation for domestic workers rights and the establishment of the Domestic Workers Union.
The unionists recognize that the path to decent work will be long and hard, but the fight continues until the regulation is adopted and C189 is ratified.
