The year 2010 marks the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families by the United Nations. This Convention complements the ILO Migration for Employment Convention No. 97 and the ILO Migrant Workers Convention No. 143. Together, these three international Conventions provide a comprehensive rights-based policy framework for migration. This map illustrates the state of ratification of these Conventions. The ITUC campaigns for the universal ratification of these instruments so as to ensure that the human rights of all migrant workers are fully respected.
