Launch of the ITUC Arab Trade Union Women’s Network
11 March 2011: The ITUC is marking International Women’s Day, 8 March, by launching a new Arab trade union women’s network, in the presence of its General Secretary Sharan Burrow, and with the participation of trade union women from eight Arab countries.
The ITUC represents 175 million workers in 153 countries and territories and has 308 national affiliates.
