Presidency – what priorities for development policy?
Denmark

many other important priorities related to the European economic crisis,
Danes still make ambitious plans in the field of development and declare
efforts to “make development policy a more central part of EU foreign
policy”.
Policies Millennium Development Goals and what comes
after
MDGs
took ten years to be formulated and agreed on by the world’s leaders. With
less than three years to their expiration date, the debate on what should come
after is rapidly speeding up. Ban Ki-Moon listed the post-2015 framework as
one of his priorities and a reference to the post-MDG agenda has been made in
the zero draft of the Rio+20 conference. Still, how will the development
goals look like after 2015 remains unclear.
Policies UN Rio+20 Conference – is this the future

environmental issues, world leaders will gather again in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
to discuss the environmental, economic and social challenges the planet faces
today. The UN Conference on Sustainable Development “Rio+20” will take place
on 20-22 June 2012. The preparations of the trade union delegation to the
summit are gathering speed. Policies EC communication on trade and development
In the
end of January the European Commission released their overdue communication
